Cationic Polymerized Epoxy and Radiation Cured Acrylate Blend Nanocomposites Based on WS2 Nanoparticles—Part A: Curing Processes and Kinetics

چکیده
Cationic photo-initiated and polymerized epoxies are characterized by good adhesion, high modulus, zero volatiles, low shrinkage living polymerization characteristics. Radiation—cured acrylate resins rapid initial curing with increased strength. The combination of radiation-cured acrylates may present advantageous attributes. Thus, the system investigated is a hybrid epoxy/methyl three different initiators for cationic epoxies, radical reaction thermal initiator. When incorporating additives like opaque WS2 nanoparticles (NPs), absorption photo radiation takes place, which lead to activity. Curing kinetics measurements revealed that absorbing/masking effect was insignificant, surprisingly, level enhanced when NPs were incorporated. FTIR results demonstrated covalent bonds formed between inorganic fullerenes (IF-WS2) crosslinked matrix. Viscosity showed surprising reduction five ten times in low-shear viscosity upon incorporation compared neat resins. It concluded decrease NPs, addition conversion, has profound advantages structural adhesives 3D printing To best our knowledge, this investigation first report on radiation-induced containing leads an degree reduced shear viscosity.

Study the curing behavior and mechanical properties of Pigmented UV curable epoxy acrylate monomers
The formulations contained different acrylate monomer with different structure and functionalities and TiO2, were applied to obtain pigmented acrylic films by UV exposure. The conversion and mechanical characteristic were correlated. The results showed that there is a significant interaction between pigment, reactive diluents’ type and mechanical properties of coatings. It seems that cured film...

Kinetics and Mechanism of Curing Epoxy/anhydride Systems
The paper reports the results of studying the kinetics of DGEBA reactions with maleic anhydride catalyzed by N, N-dimethyl aniline (DMA). This stuffs are used as photoelastic model materials. The origination of monoester was studied separately on a model reaction of maleic anhydride with isopropyl alcohol. The subsequent reaction of epoxy groups with monoester was examined on a system of epoxy ...
متن کاملCharacterization and Curing Kinetics of Epoxy/Silica Nano-Hybrids
The sol-gel technique was used to prepare epoxy/silica nano-hybrids. The thermal characteristics, curing kinetics and structure of epoxy/silica nano-hybrids were studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), 29Si nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). To improve the compatibility between the organic and inorganic phases, a coupling agent was used t...
متن کاملProperties and curing kinetics of C21-based reactive polyamides as epoxy-curing agents derived from tung oil
Three C21-based reactive polyamides were synthesized from tung oil and different polyamines. The thermal and mechanical properties of cured products of the C21-based polyamides and diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) were investigated. It was found that the cured materials were superior to those cured by C36-based polyamides in tensile strength and flexural strength and had a better flexura...
